Su Big Stereo scopro che esiste un inaspettato remix dei Crayon Fields, band indiepop che quest'anno ha pubblicato il suo secondo album, All the Pleasures of the World (trovate qui una recensione su Vitaminic).
Questo Dan Block non so bene chi sia, e non ho recuperato molte info nemmeno a un primo giro su Google, però senza esagerare è riuscito a dare un certo timbro molleggiato (un po' alla Whitest Boy Alive) al suono a volte fin troppo morbido del quartetto neozelandese.
Ma forse, è per via di quel che dichiara, con grande sincerità, il frontman Geoffrey O'Connor:

We write these songs about people we're quite fond of, in order to attract someone else. It's quite a bizarre way to live. One good thing about writing love songs is that they give the impression that you're way more romantically successful than you are.
