In mezzo a questo nastrone, tra i languidi riflessi della pigra canzone degli australiani Lower Plenty, c'è una strofa che dice più o meno: "And I saw me way across the sea, I was not where I was supposed to be, I was on the beach, and I just go, I go away".
Poco prima, invece, i frenetici Radiator Hospital avevano il tono dell'incitazione: "Runnin’ down the stairs. You’re runnin’ out the door. Shout at all your friends runnin’ up the hill. Around your heart, a burning love. Feel the flame".
Ecco, quello che mi piaceva provare a fare con questa piccola compila delle vacanze era scattare una sola istantanea di due facce opposte che sento nell'estate: il bisogno di distanze, la sospensione, il perdersi, e allo stesso tempo la voglia di correre e di gettarsi, l'euforia, il desiderio di spingere al massimo il cuore.
